PES University - PESSAT Engineering Admission Entrance Exam

PES University invites application for all india Online entrance exam for admission to the following engineering courses

PESSAT 2016 Offered Courses

Bachelor of Engineering ( BTech / BE ) :

• Biotechnology
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Master of Technology ( MTech ) :

• Manufacturing Science and Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering
• VLSI Design and Embedded Systems
• Digital Electronics and Communications Systems
• Automotive Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Power Electronics Engineering
• Intelligent Systems

As part of the admissions process PESSAT is taken by all students who are applying for PES University programs. The entrance test will be of online mode and if students need to get into PES UNIVERSITY, they must take up the PESSAT (entrance test).

 

PESSAT IMPORTANT DATES

For BTech:

October 1, 2015: Start of PESSAT 2016 online registrations

April 2016: Close of Registrations and Start of Slot bookings

May 2016: PESSAT conduction and Results

June 2016: PESSAT First Round Counseling

July 2016: PESSAT Second Round Counseling

For All other courses

October 1, 2015: Start of PESSAT 2016 online registrations

July 2016: Last date of Online Registrations

January 4th 2016: Start of Slot bookings

January 6, 2016 – July 2016: PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT 2016)

PESSAT Results: 1 Week after taking the test

For all courses other than BTech candidates can take the test on Wednesdays and Saturdays every week starting from 4th January 2016 by booking their slots online.

The test centre for all courses other than BTech will only be at PES University, Bangalore.

Eligibility for BTech

In order to appear for PESSAT, the candidate should have atleast 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Std or equivalent.
