M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), created by an act in the State of Karnataka, India, came into existence in December 2013. The University is sponsored by Gokula Education Foundation (Medical) trust. The University was created by integrating the “M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies (1999), M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management (1993), M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy (1992), M.S. Ramaiah Dental College (1991) and the M.S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre (2012)”
The University has all the departments namely: Student Affairs; Quality, Educational Processes and Educational Technologies; Sponsored Research; Training and Lifelong Learning (TLLL) and Techno Centre to provide rich, all-round experience to students. The modern infrastructural facilities like Class Rooms, Seminar Halls, Laboratories, Work Shops, Clinics, Libraries, Student Amenities including Sports Centres, Hostels, Cafeteria, Recreation Centres, Literary and Cultural activity centres, Wi-Fi and other support facilities to make the students’ experience enjoyable and memorable. The strength of the faculties lies within its well qualified, experienced and student-friendly Faculty Members.
The M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is committed to work on the philosophy of inclusiveness and service to society and to train its faculty members and students to contribute significantly to the growth of science, technology and society through their imaginative, creative and innovative pursuits. The University is expected to have more than 500 members of faculty and 8,000 students on its campuses spread over more than 100 acres of land in the near future.

> For lateral entry to Second year
a. Passed Diploma examination from an approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
b. Passed B.Sc. from a University recognized by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) and passed class 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as subjects
> For lateral entry to Second year: 10+3 years of Diploma from Technical Boards and from institutions like NTTF, GTTC are eligible for B.Des programme.
> The candidate belonging to SC/ST category will get a relaxation in the qualifying marks as per government notification.
> The candidate belonging to SC/ST category will get a relaxation in the qualifying marks as per government notification.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
> Pass In 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in the above subjects taken together.> For lateral entry to Second year
a. Passed Diploma examination from an approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
b. Passed B.Sc. from a University recognized by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) and passed class 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as subjects
Bachelor of Design (B.Design)
> A pass at Pre-University level or equivalent.> For lateral entry to Second year: 10+3 years of Diploma from Technical Boards and from institutions like NTTF, GTTC are eligible for B.Des programme.
Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
> A candidate who have passed BE/B. Tech approved by AICTE in appropriate discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.> The candidate belonging to SC/ST category will get a relaxation in the qualifying marks as per government notification.
Master of Design (M.Design)
> A candidate passed in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, Science or Allied disciplines related to Industrial Product Design with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.> The candidate belonging to SC/ST category will get a relaxation in the qualifying marks as per government notification.
