Karnataka CET 2017 Exam Dates | Application Form

KCET Application, KCET Important Dates, KCET Counselling


Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the exam dates for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), which will be conducted in May 2017. KCET will be held on Tuesday, May 02, 2017 and Wednesday, May 03, 2017. Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be held on Thursday, May 04, 2017.

KCET is conducted for taking to admission first year or first semester to Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Farm Science programs for the session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for KCET 2017:

For B.Tech Programs: Candidates should have passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard/equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and a minimum of 45% of marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry, Bio-Technology/ Bilogy/ Electronics/ Computer Science.

Application Procedure for KCET 2017:

Candidates can apply online.

Paper Pattern for KCET 2017:

KCET comprises of 4 papers namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
Each question paper comprises of 60 objective type questions.
The maximum time given for answering each paper is 80 minutes.
Each correct response given by the candidate carries 1 mark and there is no deduction of marks for any wrong answers.
