Alliance University Bangalore commences admission process for BTech 2016

The Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Alliance University, Bangalore has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates to apply for its four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology and lateral entry to three-year B.Tech programmes.
Scholarships are available to support full-time study at the Alliance University for resident Indian nationals only. Each year, it awards several scholarships in the form of fee remission to outstanding candidates.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:

B.Tech: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject and must have obtained at least 45 per cent marks (40 per cent in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Lateral entry to B.Tech: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have done Diploma or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution with 45 per cent marks (40 per cent in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters) and in an appropriate branch of engineering.
Selection procedure
The process has two stages:
Stage I: Candidates are required to appear for the Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) conducted by the Alliance College of Engineering and Design.
Stage II: Candidates are required to appear for a personal interview.
How to apply
The candidates are required to obtain the application form from the official website. They are then required to submit their filled in form along with attested copies of the below mentioned documents to 'Office of Admissions, Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Alliance University, Chikkahagade Cross, Chandapura-Anekal Main Road, Anekal, Bengaluru - 562106':
  • Class 10 mark sheet / transcript
  • Class 12 mark sheet / transcript
  • Work experience certificates (if any)
  • Entrance exam score card (JEE (Main) / JEE (Advanced) / Karnataka CET / COMED-K / Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) / other state entrances (please specify).
Important dates
  • The last date to apply for regular application round is March 31
  • Admission selection process will take place on April 23
