1.    COMED-K UGET

Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions in engineering courses offered by 150+ colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK.

COMEDK UGET 2018 exam will be conducted on May 13, 2018, across many cities in India for admissions to various UG programmes. COMEDK UGET scores are accepted by more than 150 engineering colleges, 12 medical colleges and 25 dental colleges in the state of Karnataka.

Please note that there is no entrance test for BArch courses as admissions are based on NATA.

2.    Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MUOET 2018)

Over 28,000 students from 57 different nations live, learn and play in the sprawling University town, Manipal. University has nearly 2500 faculty and almost 10000 other support and service staff, who cater to the various professional institutions in health sciences, engineering, management, communication and humanities which dot the Wi-Fi-enabled campus.

Manipal University conducts its own online entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in the programmes that it has on offer. Candidates can secure admissions in courses provided at Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score in Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET). Officials share that AIEEE/JEE or any other entrance exam scores will not be valid for Manipal University Admissions.

MUOET will be conducted between Apr 19 - May 09 2018. Last date to apply for Manpal University Online Entrance Test is Mar 11 2018.

The Engineering Entrance of Manipal University consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). MU-OET 2018 is of two and a half hours duration.

3.    Uni-GAUGE 2018

Uni-GAUGE (Under–Graduate Engineering Entrance Exam) is conducted by ERA Foundation for aspirants seeking admissions to BE/BTech programmes offered by Uni-GAUGE’s 13 Participating/Member Universities/institutions. There will be few more universities which will be added under member university list as per the official website of Uni-GAUGE.

19^th April 2018 is the last date to apply for Uni-GAUGE entrance exam.

4.    PESSAT – PES University Scholastic Aptitude Test

PES University (PESU) is a private university in Bengaluru, India. Managed by Peoples Education Society which was established in 1972, it is focused on four main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management and Life Sciences. Originally named the PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), it was renamed in 2013.

PES University is known for their faculty, labs and resources, infrastructure and placements. PES University was ranked #39 by Outlook India Top Engineering Colleges in India for  2017.

Exams for various courses is conducted in different months. While B Tech test is conducted in May, MBA test is conducted in January. Application schedule is also different. The aspirants are advised to check the schedule of their stream regularly.

The BTech programmes in which candidates can secure admissions through PESSAT are in disciplines such as – Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering.
