The Faculty of
Engineering and Technology (FET) was earlier known as the REVA Institute of technology and management and was established in 2013. REVA University offers Undergraduate and Masters Degree programmes in Engineering & Technology and Business Management
in collaboration with numerous abroad Universities. Now, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers
undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering and
Technology areas.
The Undergraduate Programme in Engineering aims
to impart a high-level of knowledge and skills in the chosen discipline of
engineering, coupled with general education. The combination of engineering and
general coursework can provide a broad base of knowledge that can apply to a
number of engineering fields. The graduates thus produced will be able to meet
the human resources requirement of engineering industry, business and commerce.
Also the graduates will be able to create new technologies and take
entrepreneurial route for their career advancement. Moreover, this acts as a
first course to develop further expertise in a chosen domain.

Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory
subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology. Obtained
at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in
the above subjects taken together
b. Passed B.Sc. from a recognized University as recognized by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) and passed class 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.
For lateral entry to Second year
a. Passed Diploma
examination from an approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case
of candidates belonging to reserve category) in appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology
b. Passed B.Sc. from a recognized University as recognized by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) and passed class 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.
The selected candidates shall fulfil all admission formalities within
the prescribed date paying the fee and completing all admission formalities as
notified by the university, failing which the selection stands cancelled.
Candidates are advised to read carefully the Prospectus and admission details before applying.
