Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka organises a common entrance test for the current academic year. COMEDK has been serving 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 190 Engineering Colleges. The test carries the objective to ensure merit based admissions through a single common entrance test followed by centralized counselling-K provides the  admission  in various Pharmacy, Architecture and Engineering college across Bangalore and the test is highly competitive. The notification of the test or UGET exam has already released and this year, COMEDK UGET 2019 exam is fixed on May 12  through online or computer based mode.

COMED-K is an exam that gives you the opportunity to admit in one of the top engineering colleges in Karnataka. The candidates’ selection will be based on their exam score. So, first it is important to know the exam pattern. 

Exam Pattern of COMED-K

Frequency of the Exam: Once in a year

It is important to know that there is no negative marking for COMED-K exam. Candidates will get one mark for one correct answer. No marks will be awarded for marking multiple choice option.1he total 180 marks is there for 180 questions and the time duration of the exam is 3 hours.

COMED-K 2019 syllabus

The syllabus of the exam  mainly based on 11th and 12th standard syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

COMED-K 2019  Application Form

The application form is available now. Candidates need to register themselves  to the official website of COMEDK i.e. comedk.org. For downloading application form; they need to click the link and register themselves. Candidates are requested to fill up the application /registration form with valid mobile number and email id.They will get an unique mail id and password after completing the successful registration. They need to complete the application procedure with the system generated user ID and password. As the next stage, they need to fill up all the details of application. They need to upload their coloured photograph and signature of their guardian. Finally, they need to make payment to click on the Payment Gateway mood.Candidates need to pay RS 1300/- for application fee for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria of COMED-K 2019 

Engineering candidates need to have minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates of Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as a part of their syllabus where Physics and Mathematics need to be the main subjects. No direct entry is allowed for admission.

Candidates want to apply B.Arch programme, need to qualify 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent exam. They need to complete their 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government for being eligible in B.Arch Programme. The need to pass Mathematics as one of their main subjects. The general category students should have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate in their qualifying exam; whereas SC/ST/OBC needs to score 45% of marks.

Exam Centres of COMED-K 2019

There are 140 exam cities across India to conduct COMED-K exam, 2019. The candidates can choose a maximum number of three cities for appearing in the exam and the test cities will be allotted to the candidates as the basis of first come first serve.It is good to remember that COMED-K  has the right to allot any cities apart from the candidates’ preferences.

Note: COMED-K and K-CET is not same

The eligibility criteria of COMED-K nand K-CET is different. Apart from this, COMED-K is open for all students based on Karnataka and outside Karnataka; but K-CET is a state level exam and it is not open for students outside Bangalore.

COMEDK UGET 2019 Counselling Process

The counselling process of this exam is scheduled  in the third week of July and candidates will have to report to the institute allotted for bio metric, document and photo verification. The counselling will follow three steps such as reporting to the venue, verification of the documents and Bio-metrics, photo verification and registration. COMEDK 2019 Cut off Marks

The cut off will release on Month of June,2019. Separate cut off will release for separate counselling. Some factors will affect the cut off such as number of candidates,number of available seats and number of qualified students as well difficulty level of question papers.
