Candidates need to pass 12th standard or equivalent examination recognized by the University (with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, and Electronics). Management quota / direct admission is open to all students who are eligible with a minimum fixed percentage (45%) in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum 50% marks in the optional subjects (as per VTU eligibility criteria for the year 2019-20).
B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission:
• Admission to II years/ III semester Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Lateral Entry) shall be open to the candidates who are holders of a diploma or equivalent qualification as recognized by University.
